beyond dave you were one of the main reasons I wanted to become a dancer your choreography and you got served changed my life at 6’4 you showed me I could belong in this world too fly high my friend from under his cool hats to behind those signature shades Dave always wore a smile his joy was infectious and his choreography unforgettable we laughed in sumo suits on the beach that memory means more than words now rest easy my friend i used to take his classes from my teen years into adulthood he motivated me to travel to create to believe in myself
dave wasn’t just a teacher he was an inspiration dave Scott helped shape a generation of dancers choreographers and dreamers his work in film and on stage gave street dance a global spotlight and his mentorship uplifted thousands the family has asked that in lie of flowers donations be made to support memorial arrangements and a celebration of Dave’s life one filled with rhythm laughter and love thank you Dave Scott for the moves the memories and the magic you will never be forgotten rest in power Dave more stories
