In a shocking twist, Eve is revealed to have survived. She clawed her way out of the grave and sought help from Jay, who has been tormenting Nate ever since. In the final confrontation, Eve and Jay ambush Nate at the gravesite, ultimately killing him.
The last reveal is the most disturbing—Nate’s romantic poem was originally written for Eve when she was his 15-year-old student, proving he has always been a predator. But there’s another dark twist: Jay, Eve’s shoe store lover, is actually Hudson, Addie’s friend.
